I can't believe how many people voted to leave and didn't fully understand what would happen if the UK really did leave. I also fear the growing tide of xenophobia and hatred...as an American I am just astounded at how much traction Trump has and more frighteningly, how many people were just out there, waiting for someone like that to come along that they could follow. Yikes. I hope that there is stability in the future, although it looks pretty bleak. I'm glad that it doesn't affect you as much, being Irish, but it must be so bizarre to see all this unfold and see what's happening to the EU and to the UK as a result, while living in Germany.
