From what I've heard some women just respond better to it. My boss has been a bit better since but clearly he hasn't got a clue!dubliner in Deutschlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16531838540641364420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6852337025953891596.post-11161270806601415742016-12-09T11:54:34.611-08:002016-12-09T11:54:34.611-08:00Yea it wasn't a great start. There were also some people in my company who wanted to skip lunch and go home early but they were told they had to take at least 30 minutes. I didn't get to work till 12 that day so with a lunch break it was six hours working in the end but the hr manager told me before that if u have a doctor's appointment that eats into work time you bring your note and work the normal day. Definitely acting like a doodoohead, haha. At least HR are supportive. Your boss sounds like an asshat. His advice for conceiving sucks as well...I'm sorry he's not as supportive as he seemed to be.
Yeah the good thing about Ireland is the cap they put on drugs - I think we did spend about a thousand euro anyway though.
I recall that the antagonist protocol was the one I was fighting to do but my clinic had other ideas. It's definitely better than the standard long protocol I remember. Just now got a chance to catch up with your journey. So what time of injections are you taking? I am planning on IVF in February if we don't succeed by then. The cost of IVF is ridiculous here. I am glad your cost is more reasonable.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13686988834850347187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6852337025953891596.post-63114083286051970472016-12-05T01:14:48.172-08:002016-12-05T01:14:48.172-08:00Umm, I'm pretty sure skipping lunch is actuall...Umm, I'm pretty sure skipping lunch is actually illegal in Germany? If you work an 8 hour day (which I assume you still would be if you planned to stay until 7?) you are required by law to take a 30 minute break! For 6 hours, the law says you have to take a break of at least 15 minutes. I know this because my previous boss threatened to start making people take a break at a set time because too many people were eating at their desks and working through lunch every day. If for some reason anyone found out, the boss would be liable even though it was my colleagues' own choice to not take their break and go home earlier instead.Confuzzled Bevhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01471749871770054481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6852337025953891596.post-32016707848022314162016-12-04T19:04:13.475-08:002016-12-04T19:04:13.475-08:00Oh, good luck! From the unsolicited "just stop thinking about it" comments to insinuating that you didn't make up your time from your appointment, that is the opposite of supportive. I'm glad you've got HR in your corner. He needs a smack with the empathy stick. I hope retrieval comes with great results, thinking of you!Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15868505568965284742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6852337025953891596.post-60008986720574820842016-12-04T09:50:01.846-08:002016-12-04T09:50:01.846-08:00I am a great believer of the antagonist protocol, ...I am a great believer of the antagonist protocol, it works wonders with poor responders and it's much shorter which is a blessing for anyone sanity.
I am sorry about your boss, definitely out of line!Franhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05717020378275616297noreply@blogger.com
